You need a reliable system to identify and stop acids that break down and disintegrate scrapbooks and keepsakes. The PaperSaver system includes a PaperSaver pH Testing Pen and PaperSaver aerosol formula that let you check for damaging acids and follow up by neutralizing acids safely, immediately and for decades to come.
Safe Technology
PaperSaver technology is created by a group of professionals involved in paper chemistry, scrapbooking and crafts. The PaperSaver formulation was developed using recognized ASTM and TAPPI paper methods, then on the staff's large collections of books, keepsakes and treasured documents.
PaperSaver is safe with no fluorocarbons. It was developed, tested, and verified to meet strict deacidification criteria set by the Library of Congress and also meets ASTM D-4236 and Federal TSCA standards.
Easy to Use
Before spraying, draw a small line with the PaperSaver pH Testing Pen in an inconspicuous place (it will be permanent) on the item you're testing. If the test line turns purple, no acid is present and there is no need to spray. However if the test line turns yellow, acid is present and all you have to do is spray following directions on the aerosol can. Your document or keepsake is now acid-free! |
